NOTICE: REGARDING PRESUMPTIVE OHV COMPLIANCE AND COMPONENT
STANDARDS
Component Specifications:
This vehicle utilizes DOT-grade (Department of Transportation) components in its construction. While these high-specification parts are engineered to meet rigorous safety and durability standards, their presence serves as a baseline for compliance readiness and does not, by itself, constitute street-legal status or automatic vehicle certification.
Registration & Jurisdiction-Specific Requirements:
In certain jurisdictions, the inclusion of DOT-grade hardware may streamline the application process for Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) registration or specific road-legal conversions. However, requirements for vehicle classification—including but not limited to lighting, signaling, VIN assignment, and safety inspections—vary significantly by state, province, and country.
User Responsibility:
The manufacturer makes no guarantee of successful OHV registration. It is the sole responsibility of the owner to:
-
Verify local statutes regarding multi-modal vehicle classification.
-
Complete any additional technical modifications required by local authorities for Total Compliance.
-
Submit all necessary documentation for registration and insurance where permitted by law.
-
Any unauthorized tampering will result in the immediate voidance of all warranties and may violate vehicle classification laws.
LEGAL DISCLAIMER: CLASS II COMPLIANCE & TRACK USE
Operating Environment & Compliance:
These vehicles are shipped in a Class II configuration (750W limit, 20 mph max) for legal use on public roads. Any user-initiated modification via the programmable controller to exceed 750W or 20 mph will Fundamentally Change Legal Classification and is strictly intended for Sanctioned Race Track Use or Private Property Use only. High-power settings are Not Street Legal.
Liability & Risk:
Modifying power output beyond Class II limits constitutes a "Mode Change" that may reclassify the vehicle as a motor vehicle (moped/motorcycle) under local laws. The user assumes full responsibility for:
-
Reconfiguring the controller to 750W/Class II limits before entering public roadways.
-
Ensuring compliance with local registration, licensing, and insurance requirements if operated at high power.
-
Any mechanical failures, injuries, or legal penalties resulting from "Configuring Track Mode" or deviation from original settings.
Safety & Warranty:
